About us

The Akhil Bhartiya Sanskritik Sansthan (ABSS), Lucknow, was founded in 1990 by Mr. Rajendra Tiwari at Gandhi Bhawan, Lucknow, with a small team of 11 passionate individuals. The journey began with a powerful theatrical performance on Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October 1990, marking the start of a cultural movement dedicated to social awareness and artistic excellence. Over the years, the organization has trained and empowered more than 2,500 artists from across India. Through theatre, cultural performances, and awareness programs, ABSS continues to inspire positive change and spread social consciousness on issues that shape our society. Today, the Sansthan is actively working in several states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh, carrying forward its mission to educate, enlighten, and empower communities through art and culture.

We spread awareness about drug and alcohol addiction because it is one of the biggest threats to our nation. Addiction not only destroys an individual’s life but also breaks families and harms society. By creating awareness, we aim to educate people about its dangers and encourage them to choose a healthy, drug-free life.

It is very important to educate children because they are the future of our nation and the builders of a better tomorrow. When our children are educated, they gain the power to change society and lead the country toward progress. Education shapes their character, opens opportunities, and helps in creating a strong, developed nation.

We spread health awareness through street plays and dramas because they are powerful and effective ways to reach people easily.
